I like this new approach. To begin with I wasn't sure how to 'read' them - then I started to find my way - taking in your title and the image and reading the visuals, the layers, the contrasts and confirmations suddenly stories and poetics start to arise. Well executed!
Thanks Jem. I like to escape from words sometimes and explore other narrative arts. A lot of pieces like this one using vintage family portraits are about the reproduction and erasure self. The titles are usually whatever pops into my head first.
