There was a bushfire in the next suburb in 2009 and I've vistited the site 3 times to take piccies and each time wonder across something different. It's kind of coastal scrub, so most of the trees are gnarly and twisted and have yet to show signs of re-growth. It's still stark and eery.
The next one's also from the same area (on a foggy morning).
