Yes, it is a cross. I wasn't fully aware of that, but it did seem the right picture for the words and Christmas Day the correct day; and I'm an athiest!
The words were inspired by the a David Gilmour DVD where he's talking about Michael Kamen and points our that he's passed on. We'll, I knew the name and was familiar with some of his work and suddenly I knew why I hadn't heard much from him lately.
With Dalloway urging haiga, I instantly matched the words to this picture.
