I always find it amazing how you understand my stuff, Lorraine, since yours and mine are so poles aparts. By it's great that it works that way. I was really afraid of offending people with this, if they missed it as social commentary and satire.
The 144,000 are mentioned in the Bible (old testament) as be the chosen who will go to heaven. They are from the 12 tribes of Israelites. This interpretation (the blind etc), told to me recently, is nonsence. Also, if only 144,000, then the millions or billions who are or have been or will be devout don't have the odds in their favour - especially as most aren't Israelites. Where's the incentive?
I'd be something like an anarcho syndicalist green.
